What would Poland look like if, by some happy coincidence, by some inexplicable gesture, catalogs of repetitive single-family houses disappeared forever from the shelves of Empik stores and from the Internet? They don't. Simply put. You want a house - you go to an architect. Houses, after all, would not have to be thus more expensive, inaccessible, fancy and, as is often the case now, oversized because they are not adapted to the specific needs of users. Driving along, for example, Zakopianka or the national "seven", we would pass rows of cool and graceful houses instead of pastel architectural monstrosities pretending to be mansions. Sounds like an aesthetic paradise, doesn't it? We have architects who are talented, creative, looking for the best solution for a given topic, by the way, just follow what we have selected for you for this issue. We encourage all investors who plan to build a house in the future to look for a studio that will design you a tailor-made house. It doesn't have to be more expensive at all. And how many benefits! What joy later! By the way, read for yourselves interviews with investors who have chosen such a path. By the way, we will take care of the quality of the space around us in this way - after all, hardly anyone cares about its shape.
We also have a bonus for you - a supplement devoted to the International Architecture Biennale, which took place in October this year at the ICE Congress Center in Krakow. The atmosphere of the biennale was wonderful. We have already written a lot about it on our website architekturaibiznes.pl, but in this publication we have collected for you the authorial voices of the biennale organizers and participants and summarized the event.
On behalf of the Editorial Board, Publisher and the entire A&B team, I would like to wish you - our Readers, Contributors, Friends - a beautiful Christmas, a happy New Year and... lots of inspiration and endless energy to realize your dreams.
Enjoy your reading, Chief ;)
