The compact size of the casing, intended for houses with an area of up to 180m2, the possibility of mounting on the wall, heat recovery of up to 94% - these are just some of the advantages of the recuperation unit of the British brand Vent-Axia, whose exclusive distributor in Poland is Lindab Polska. In the following article we present all the arguments "for" offering this device to end customers.

1. Countercurrent heat exchanger
There are two types of heat recovery available on the market - rotary heat exchangers (regenerators) and counterflow heat exchangers. Both have their advantages and disadvantages. In the case of rotary exchangers, it is worth noting the moisture recovery or the lack of a preheater. Aspects such as moving parts (rotator motor) or the possibility of failure of the intermediate belt drive after several years of use may discourage the purchase of a recuperator with a rotary exchanger.
The Vent Axia-Kinetic Advance recuperator is equipped with a countercurrent heat exchanger, which is characterized by high efficiency (up to 94%) and noiseless operation, with no energy input. In its case, however, it is necessary to drain condensate and use anti-freeze systems, so the Kinetic Advance model is equipped with a built-in 2 kW pre-heater.
How mechanical ventilation with the Vent-Axia Kinetic Advance recuperator works:
2. Low noise level of the unit with low energy consumption
Designed with the utmost precision, the recuperator's internal surfaces, using CFD technology, ensure excellent airflow through the unit, minimizing noise and energy consumption. Not without significance is also the use of EBM-PAST fans with economical EC motors, which guarantee quiet operation. In this way, Vent-Axia's heat recovery unit meets the most important comfort requirements, as its operation is so quiet that it is unnoticeable to the user.
3. Multiple installation options
The Vent-Axia Kinetic Advance air handling unit comes in right- and left-hand versions. It can be placed on the floor or, in case of limited space, mounted on the wall. Its compact dimensions, which are 660×443×760 mm (length × width × height), allow it to be installed also in the kitchen, hallway or bathroom and hidden in built-in furniture.
The compact dimensions make it possible to hide the recuperator in built-in furniture.

4. Control from anywhere in the world
When the recuperator is located in technical rooms or in the attic, changing the settings on a daily basis could be cumbersome. However, with the ability to remotely control the unit, using a smartphone app, regardless of where the user is, you can quickly and comfortably control the operation of heat recovery ventilation. An interesting solution is also the controller, which can be removed from the recuperator housing and installed anywhere in the house or apartment. By placing it, for example, in the corridor, which is usually used every day, you can control the device without hindrance, and any messages such as a reminder to perform service, among others, will be impossible to miss.
5. Providing air of excellent quality
Improving air quality is one of the main tasks that recuperation is supposed to perform. The Vent-Axia Kinetic Advance recuperator is equipped with high-end filters that are designed to provide real improvements in indoor air to make it perfect for living, studying and resting. With a wide range of F7-class filtering options, even in heavily polluted areas, the Kinetic Advance protects residents' lives and prevents respiratory problems.
6. Customizable ventilation
The developers of the Kinetic Advance model have spent a lot of time analyzing each of the controls. Changing the output to the expected value is possible at any time. With the programmable controller, you can turn on the temporary ventilation function, for example, when it's hot in the summer, or slow down the speed of the fans while you put your child to bed. Whatever the situation, the Vent-Axia Kinetic Advance adapts to your individual needs.

7. Ecological and economical recuperation
Technological solutions used in Vent-Axia recuperators allow automatic regulation of the unit's operation, thanks to which energy consumption is lower by up to 25% compared to standard units. The quality of workmanship, durability and reduction of energy consumption andCO2 emissions make the devices meet all European Union standards. In addition, the Vent-Axia Kinetic Advance recuperator comes in energy class A+.
