After more than a year of austerity due to the coronavirus pandemic, we have managed to enter the POW(D)ER IGP on Tour phase in Poland, which was presented by IGP Pulvertechnik AG in 2019. POW(D)ER IGP on Tour is a European roadshow in which Poland is the most important point on the travel map from our perspective. The main intention of the roadshow is to reach customers with our service offerings. The very slogan of the POW(D)ER IGP on Tour event indicates the way we want to achieve it.

The roadshow, which was inaugurated at our headquarters in Switzerland in the second half of August, aims to present the whole idea to our customers and business partners. We intend to show our new capabilities related to technical service and laboratory testing, and highlight how important this type of support is at every stage of cooperation with the customer. Technical service is a proposal for technological cooperation aimed at R&D technical departments of our business partners (implementation of new ideas, optimization of coating processes, program of training packages tailored to expectations and needs). We not only present new possibilities, but also emphasize the package of benefits of cooperation with IGP Pulvertechnik, benefits that are well known to our cooperating customers.

The whole initiative met with a very positive response, as evidenced by the large number of participants in the event, which premiere was held in Siesten. On this occasion, we also had the opportunity to present the production process of powder paint, present the new headquarters of the sales company IGP Pulvertechnik Polska Sp. z o.o. and IGP Operations Polska Sp. z o.o. , which carries out our production activities. The highlight of the events, however, is the IGP truck, which is a fully-equipped multimedia platform, on wheels and with quite a lot of equipment related to powder coating and powder coating testing. This allows us to reach those of our customers who want technical support. This is also our plan for the future.

With the Roadshow stage concerning our headquarters in Poland quickly coming to an end, we may be tempted to give a brief summary. With great satisfaction, we hope also for our guests, we managed to gather more than 130 group of people, who on dn. 31.08÷03.09.2021 carried out the program prepared and offered by us for the POW(D)ER IGP on Tour event, which, it is worth noting, was held in accordance with the preferences of our guests on the issues raised. The program included a wide range of presentations, a tour of the production plant including the laboratory, a paint shop and a premiere access to our IGP Showroom space for those interested. Buoyed by the course of the first stage of the project, and especially strengthened by the feedback from our guests, we continued our journey with stops in Bielsko-Biała and Lublin.

On 07.09.2021 we started the second part of the Roadshow, this time the road took us to Bielsko-Biała and Aluprof S.A. and Lublin and Aliplast Sp. z o.o.. As in the previous week, the weather favored us, no less warmly we were received on the spot. We held an extensive series of meetings with employees of many departments, often these were also people who have not and will not have direct contact with powder paint on a daily basis, but undoubtedly the knowledge imparted will be helpful at work. In many cases, this was also the first contact for each party, so a general presentation of IGP Pulvertechnik, its production capabilities and its wide range of services was a very important aspect. The training meetings were dedicated to the established interests resulting from the professional profile of the participants, and we tried to conduct them in the most attractive way possible.

We must emphasize that the meetings were held during working hours, the more grateful we are to our clients for making the roadshow project possible. This time we only had a space set up on an IGP truck at our disposal, which undoubtedly posed a great challenge for us in terms of presenting the company, product and services, given the component nature of powder coating present in our customers' production processes. The most important thing for us is our employees, so the central figure of the event carried out in the mobile training space was our technical and commercial advisor, the same person for more than a dozen years, the same competent interlocutor in the more than 20-year history of IGP's Polish sales company.
