Schüco's modern PVC-U windows come in a variety of thermal insulation classes, from energy-efficient to passive, as well as in many design versions and opening types. This means almost unlimited possibilities for individual architecture. For example, the LivIng system of PVC-U allows for the production of fashionable windows and portfenets with sashes as high as 2.5 meters. What's more, using various types of connecting and expansion profiles, it is possible to realize impressive multi-partite structures consisting of fixed and opening elements. The modern visual effect will be further emphasized by the individually selected contour of the profile: the minimalist Classic, the subtly rounded Rondo or the quarter sided Viva.

A unique proposition is the Schüco Symbiotic hybrid system, which makes it possible to realize large-format windows with an attractive aluminum appearance. The plastic-aluminum window is notable for its shallow installation depth of 74 mm, minimum visible profile front width of 110 mm and glazing thickness of up to 52 mm. The clear design of the joinery is emphasized by the elegant, angular geometry of the aluminum profiles and the flush glazing surfaces in the opening and fixed sections. The aluminum surface can be powder-coated in any RAL color or anodized, while the PVC-U interior surface can be finished with a decorative film from a wide range of more than 300 solid shades, in colors of various woods or metallic.

Another interesting innovation is the Schüco LivIng move system, which allows the realization of individual concepts for PVC-U sliding doors and windows that meet the highest requirements in terms of comfort, energy efficiency, security and design. In addition to high thermal insulation and the option of using glazing up to 54 mm thick, the solution offers watertightness up to Class 9A and burglary resistance up to Class RC2, as well as effective perimeter ventilation. All this makes LivIng move joinery an excellent alternative to lift-and-slide and PASK doors.
Comfort and view without barriers
In modern homes, it is increasingly common to find intelligent solutions that are designed to make it as easy as possible for residents to access all areas of the building. This includes handling large-format sliding sashes and overcoming high thresholds, which can be a challenge for children or the elderly. All these issues have been solved with the Schüco LivIngSlide PVC-U system. The stable solution makes it possible to realize very big lift-and-slide doors as large as 6.5 x 2.8 meters. One frame can accommodate up to four fixed or sliding sashes weighing up to 400 kg.

The innovative solution also comes in the Panorama version with ultra-narrow sash profiles with a visible width of just 72 mm. High operating comfort is ensured by a zero-millimeter threshold, a carefully thought-out lift-and-slide mechanism and, in the automatic version, a drive completely concealed in the profile. Doors designed this way allow effortless opening of even very heavy sashes by the touch of a button on the wall or panel. The possibility of automatic operation is also offered by the threshold-free Schüco LivIng PVC-U entrance door with the BlueCon module, which allows the woodwork to be opened and closed without contact, using a Bluetooth-enabled smartphone. The sash opens as soon as the system detects the paired device. The practical feature is very helpful in many everyday situations, such as bringing in groceries.
