Editorial: UGO Architecture
We have given the pages of the December issue of A&B entirely to the young Poznan studio UGO Architecture. The idea for the layout, styles, content is entirely theirs. The cover and its design is also theirs - we like it very much, because we have never had flowers on the cover in our entire thirty-year history!
The issue is unique. It's for architects, but it's not at all about architecture, and not as serious as usual. Hugon Kowalski and his team (special thanks to Agata Kotlicka) played with the convention of a magazine about architecture and came out with a bit of a lifestyle magazine, almost "Cosmopolitan" or "Vogue", only for architects. So sit back in your armchairs and enjoy the reading. It's light, but very interesting.
٭ To read this special issue you may need some cool music in the background, we recommend to be inspired by the music corner. The selection is delectable, we have already listened.
٭٭ The holidays are coming, so good recipes at a price, and already for a good doughnut (it always comes out) especially!
٭٭٭ Lots of tips, short interviews, snippets of design reality.
٭٭٭٭ Don't delude yourself, however, that you won't think about what you read here. It's just a semblance of the lightweight stuff that doesn't stay for long.
