Olga Skrbeńska

Born in 1992, she began her university studies in Architecture and Urban Planning at the Cracow University of Technology. She spent part of her bachelor's degree in the Netherlands at TU Delft University, where she decided to devote herself to designing public buildings.

"I decided to continue my studies in the master's degree at this university because of the emphasis on the conceptual and intellectual side of design, which was in line with my own beliefs. I completed my master's project in the Complex Projects department. It included half a year of research of a particular area, beyond the architectural framework, and half a year of design sensu stricto. I've worked in the Netherlands and Poland, and I'm currently working in Norway, where I work on municipal buildings, such as clinics, kindergartens, schools and retirement homes.

I have always been interested in life and art and what connects and permeates all fields of human activity, which in my vocabulary is called poetry. In my life so far I have had the chance to visit many countries and learn many words to describe the same things. I hope that the accumulated knowledge allows me to create spaces that, in one way or another, touch their user, create a kind of sense and identity of a particular place, moment and person."
