Architecture of institutions

State institutions, like other public buildings in Poland, are beginning to change. Architects are increasingly combining functionality, modern solutions and high construction standards in their designs.

innovation in industry

Technological development is influencing the development of the economy. Newly constructed buildings are not only visually aesthetically pleasing, but most importantly use the latest technological advances in the design and production process. In their concepts, architects are tasked with meeting all the necessary requirements so that institutions can function in the most efficient, optimal and energy-efficient way possible while maintaining, above all, the principles of safety and care for the environment. Increasingly, at the design stage, architects are using modern BIM technology, which makes it possible to model and coordinate building information.

In the future, Kielce will be able to boast a new headquarters for the Laboratory Campus of the Central Office of Weights and Measures, located on a sprawling 13-hectare plot near Noise Mountain. The two-stage competition was won by BDM Architects. The project envisages dividing the facility into public and enclosed parts. The authors of the concept decided to combine modernity with the local resources of the region. In addition to glass and steel, stone from the Tumlin quarry was used to finish the facility's walls.
