The Norman Foster Foundation has announced the Kharkiv Housing Challenge, an international competition for architects and architects, as well as designers and planners from around the world. The idea is to develop innovative and practical solutions for rebuilding war-ravaged Kharkiv.
objective
The competition aims to develop a modular system to retrofit existing concrete slab apartment blocks and improve public spaces in Kharkiv. The key is to create safe, energy-efficient and vibrant neighborhoods that improve the living conditions of residents.
terms and conditions
The competition is open to participants from all over the world. All entries and communications must be in English. Registration fees apply, from which teams from Ukraine are exempt.
prizes
Total prize pool: 10,000 euros, with the possibility of projects:
- 1st place: 6,000 euros
- II place: 3,000 euros
- III place: 1,000 euros

- announcement of results: October 17, 2024
