The municipality of Margonin has announced a study competition for a project to modernize Margonin's market square. The residents of the municipality will be invited to join the competition jury.

The competition is a study, open, one-stage competition.

The competition organizer expects a creative approach to the architectural and functional-spatial features of the competition area and does not intend to limit the creative ingenuity of the competition participants. The concept should provide for the connection of the site taking into account the landscape conditions and existing buildings.

The study should include a graphic and descriptive concept. It should include, among other things, the idea of development and creation of new green areas located within the market plate (a minimum of 70% greenery), coherent elements of small architecture, safe and functional connection of pedestrian and bicycle communication with the existing with the traffic system for cars. It should also be borne in mind that the area to be covered by the design for the competition is included in the local zoning plan and is in the register of monuments of the Wielkopolska province.

The participant in the competition can be any natural person with full legal capacity and with professional skills and documented experience in the performance of the task in question (portfolio/references). The competition is open to students and/or graduates of universities from the Republic of Poland with majors in architecture, urban planning, landscape architecture, urban planning or spatial management.
