Climate change and related conflicts have forced a new approach to the environment, which in turn is prompting a rethinking of landscape design concepts. Today, gardens are not just about lines, paths, volumes, features and gardeners - they require more advanced planning, leaving room for imagination and harmony with nature.

The goal of the international Radicepura Garden 2024 competition is to promote innovative and creative garden designs that combine beauty, biodiversity and a sustainable approach to the environment, within the context of the Mediterranean landscape. The organizers want the projects to reflect a contemporary approach to nature and landscape, combining both artistic and ecological aspects of garden design.

terms and conditions

The competition is open to students, landscape architects, garden designers, botanists, horticulturists, urban planners, engineers and artists. Participation is free of charge. Entries may be submitted by teams or individuals, provided that participants are no older than 36. Projects should be innovative, attractive and useful, taking into account biodiversity and the Mediterranean landscape.

prizes

The Festival will feature 7 gardens designed by the contestants and participants. These projects will be presented to the public during the Festival, giving their authors and authors international visibility and the opportunity to establish valuable professional contacts. In addition, the winners and prizewinners of the competition will receive substantive and technical support in the implementation of their projects.

competition jury

The competition jury will consist of renowned experts in the fields of landscape architecture, botany, art and natural sciences.
