descriptionOn October 7 this year, during a gala accompanying the 11th PLGBC Green Building Symposium, an award ceremony was held for the PLGBC Green Building Awards 2021, organized by the Polish Green Building Association for the tenth time.
The idea behind the competition honoring the best green building projects in Poland is to promote modern solutions for sustainable construction. This year's edition took into account buildings, interiors, projects, products and initiatives created from June 2019 to June 2021.
The jury composed of Ewelina Jaskulska (Artectonica, Honorary Jury Member), Tomasz Pągowski (Imathome, Honorary Jury Member), Szymon Wojciechowski (APA Wojciechowski, Honorary Jury Member), Maciej Jakub Zawadzki (MJZ, Honorary Jury Member), Anna Baczkowska (Knauf Ceiling Solutions), Ph. Anna Bać (Wroclaw University of Technology), Justyna Biernacka (OW SARP, Architects For Climate), Joanna Ferdyn-Grygierek, Ph. PŚ (Silesian University of Technology), Paweł Kobierzewski (TK Holding), Alicja Leszczyńska (Assa Abloy), Joanna Plaisant (Arcadis Polska) and Jerzy Wójcik (JW+A) evaluated the works, taking into account architectural and aesthetic qualities, as well as those related toecological construction and sustainable development, the innovative solutions used and those that contribute to reducing CO2 emissions and the conscious use of our planet's resources.
