Results of the 2nd stage of the Tubądzin Design Awards competition in the CultureFORM category

TheTubądzin Design Awards (TDA), organized by the Tubądzin Group since 2015, is a competition for architects, designers and students from around the world.
The competition, which runs from March 1 to November 30, 2022, is open to individual participants and teams. A participant in each category of the competition may submit as many works as he or she wishes and may take part in any number of stages of the competition.
The contest task is to present projects in the fields of architecture, interior design and design, in which Tubądzin products will be used.
Prizes are awarded in stages and throughout the year. In each stage of the competition, the organizers anticipate awarding: three projects in the Young Power, Everyday Design, Unlimited Architecture categories, as well as selecting one project in the CultureFORM category and one Audience Award.
In the final stage of the competition, the organizers anticipate selecting: Grand Prix 2022 and 2nd and 3rd Prizes among the final projects in the Young Power, Everyday Design, Unlimited Architecture categories, and the winner of the CultureFORM cateogory.
In July this year we announced the results of the 1st stage of the international Tubądzin Design Awards competition(link here).
This year's edition is enriched with a new CultureFORM category (results of the 1st edition are available here).
This category is inspired by culture and experiencing culture, and gives freedom to design and influence the culture of a space. Participants can submit works related to the cultural heritage of their countries, cities or communities to which they belong. They can also present a design for a space that promotes the culture of countries they don't live in on a daily basis, proposing solutions that affect the possibility of daily interaction with the heritage of those regions. Their task is to design spaces that take into account the unique aspects of their surroundings, which are related to the history, tradition or values of a given region of the world.
OnOctober 4 of this year , however, the results of the second stage of the CultureFORM competition were announced, and the submitted works were evaluated by a jury consisting of:
- Davide Macullo - founder of the Davide Macullo Architects studio in Lugano,
- Marta Sowińska-Gąska - architect, winner of the Grad Prix TDA 2020,
- Ewa Kryszkiewicz - manager of the development and cooperation with architects department at Tubądzin Group.
The jury awarded the Grand Prize of EUR 1,000 to the work entitled Lanterns in the woods by Yi Yang Chai from Malaysia.
Other prizes were two equal honorable mentions, received by: Farnaz Manzour from Iran for his project "Port of cultures" and Aman Tair from Pakistan for his work "Darya ki oat mein."
