The work of an architect - interior designer involves the comprehensive development of the design of rooms, from conception to implementation. The task of an interior architect is to develop a preliminary design, determine the appropriate color scheme and lighting, patterns and textures, interior furnishings (furniture and decorations), prepare a cost estimate and, after the client's approval, create a detailed design and supervise its implementation.

how to become an interior designer?
The profession of designer or interior designer combines technical and artistic knowledge. An interior designer should have a specialized university degree (majoring in architecture or interior design) and be familiar with graphic programs useful in design (including AutoCAD, Photoshop, Corel, etc.). Interior design education is offered by many Polish technical and artistic universities, including: Faculty of Architecture and Design at the Academy of Fine Arts in Gdansk, Faculty of Architecture at the Silesian University of Technology, Faculty of Interior Design at the J. Matejko in Krakow, the Faculty of Interior Design and Scenography at the University of Arts in Poznan, the School of Form in Poznan, as well as the Faculty of Interior Design at the Academy of Fine Arts in Warsaw and the Faculty of Architecture and Interior Design at the E. Geppert Academy of Fine Arts in Wroclaw. It should be remembered, however, that trends in interior design change as quickly as those in fashion, which is why a mandatory part of an interior designer's job is to constantly seek new inspiration and follow the latest trends at popular interior design fairs.

The law does not require interior architects to have a license to practice, so theoretically the profession can be practiced by anyone. However, it is important that the person undertaking this task have not only artistic ability and a sense of aesthetics, but, above all, a sound knowledge in construction, electrical, plumbing and heating systems, as well as materials and their durability. It should be remembered that space design is not only about choosing the right color scheme, tiles in the bathroom, furniture and accessories, but on functionality and ergonomics, the convenience of the residents and users of the spaces in question, based on the structural possibilities and construction standards. It is worth reaching for the advice of an interior designer at the stage of purchasing an apartment. The designer will then help us functionally set up partition walls, plan the arrangement of electrical and plumbing systems, ergonomically lay out the layout of furniture and household appliances, select the right finishing materials, and also prepare the necessary drawings and documentation for contractors. An interior designer will also help us with the renovation of individual rooms - bathrooms, kitchens, children's rooms or living rooms, as well as with changes in function, as in the case of architect Anna Popiel-Moszyńska, who redesigned the space of a lawyer's office adapting it into an apartment for a family with four children. With such orders, the designer often creates a moodboard - a collection of inspirations, will help select materials, show us product samples and prepare a price quote. Projekty wnętrzarskie zaczęłam tworzyć jednak dużo wcześniej, a momentem przełomowym w karierze był dla mnie rok 2000 kiedy to na łamach ''Wysokich Obcasów” pokazałam swój pierwszy projekt. Moje realizacje były wielokrotnie publikowane w magazynach wnętrzarskich w Polsce i na świecie „Dom&Wnętrze”, „Dobre Wnętrze”, „Beautiful Houses”, „VIVA DECOR”. Przez Dom&Wnętrze, zostałam uznana jako jedna z dziesięciu najlepszych polskich architektów wnętrz.
W swojej karierze zawodowej zrealizowałam kilkadziesiąt projektów wnętrz w Polsce i za granicą, w tym Francji, Niemczech czy Rosji. Specjalizuję się w kompleksowej aranżacji luksusowych apartamentów i rezydencji, ale z powodzeniem projektuję także obiekty użyteczności publicznej. Zaprojektowałam wnętrza w legendarnym już klubie "Utopia", minimalistyczną kawiarnię "Secret Garden” czy stworzyłam sieć wybranych salonów firmy "Atlantic”. Wraz z rozwojem firmy i kolejnymi doświadczeniami powstała pracownia skupiająca wokół siebie profesjonalnych wykonawców.
Inspiracje czerpię ze wszystkiego co mnie otacza. Szukam, podróżuję i uważnie obserwuję, niezależnie czy jestem na warszawskiej ulicy czy na targach w Mediolanie. Wnętrza, które tworzę mają zawsze wyrazisty, niepowtarzalny charakter. Są odważne i niesztampowe. Wśród moich ulubionych marek wyróżniam włoskich producentów: Rifra, Rexa i Baxter, jednak cały czas szukam nowych firm i pomysłów. Z wielką przyjemnością pracuję też z markami Antonio Lupi, Salvatori czy Kettal. Jako pierwsza w Polsce zaczęłam używać produktów Jaimiego Hayona i mozaiki Bisazza, które zyskały ogromną popularność i stały się niezwykle modne na rodzimym rynku. Niezwykle cienię sobie projektantów, którzy myślą niesztampowo, potrafią bawić się wzornictwem, uwielbiam projekty Josepha Diranda i Vincenta Van Duysena
