Work submitted for the competition
"Best Interior Diploma".

The work includes a concept for the arrangement of six railcars, the design of three railcars and a comprehensive design of the modules included in them. The concept is an attempt to respond to today's passenger needs and the need to modernize the interiors of railcars. The project draws inspiration from the interiors of airplanes, including private jets, in terms of space organization and designed solutions. Train travel can be more than just moving from point A to point B - it can be an experience, an attraction, an interesting sensation. This way of thinking is close to more and more passengers.

The most developed elements in terms of form and applied solutions are the original modules. The first is the modern cabin module, which is located in a sleeping car with sleeping cabins, inspired by Japanese capsule hotels. The cabin presented by me, thanks to the amenities used, provides the passenger with freedom and comfort, while technological solutions provide a sense of security and privacy. The body shaped with soft lines and organic shapes fits in with the passenger cars. The module is the dominant feature in the interior of the carriage. Adjoining solids create a rhythmic, harmonious plane.

The second designed module is a seat in the 1st class carriage, inspired by solutions used in airplanes - between a standard seat and a reclining seat. The seat's organic casing wraps the passenger and insulates him from his surroundings, giving him a sense of privacy. The module in material and design fits into the futuristic concept of the proposed spaces. The interior of the carriage includes acoustic cabins for passengers who need silence during the journey.

A catering wagon has also been developed. The design concept of the wagon is based on an open and free plan, which allows for smooth communication and flexibility of arrangement. The lump of the kitchen separates the restaurant area from the cafeteria area. In this wagon, it was particularly important to achieve a cozy atmosphere, which was helped by mood lighting.
The concept for the arrangement of the carriages is primarily to increase the space between passengers and to provide better working and studying conditions. It is worth mentioning that the carriages and modules are adapted for people with disabilities. The use of sustainably sourced and manufactured finishing materials is planned.
