On March 16, the results of the competition for young architects and designers MOVABLE HOUSE - Home of the Modern Nomad, organized by the Polish Lighting Industry Association, were announced at the 30th International Light Fair.
The task facing young architects was to create a mobile home on wheels - either adapting an existing vehicle into a running home or building one from scratch using chassis for development. The project had to use lighting solutions from KANLUX, the sponsor of the competition.
The competition jury composed of:
  • Beata Goczoł - architect, Goczołowie Architekci Studio Autorskie,
  • Oskar Grąbczewski - architect, OVO Grąbczewscy Architekci,
  • Maciej Jurkowski-Lukas - artist, designer, architect,
  • Marek Orłowski - Polish Lighting Industry Association,
  • Prof. Wojciech Wybieralski - retired employee. Faculty of Design at the Academy of Fine Arts in Warsaw,
  • representative of the KANLUX company,
  • Katarzyna Kędziorczyk, Klaudia Rduch, Nicole Kossowska - winners of the First Prize of the previous edition of the competition,
  • Elżbieta Dajer - secretary of the competition, SOMA Agency,
awarded three prizes and one honorable mention. First Prize went to a team of students from the Faculty of Architecture at Gdansk University of Technology - Zuzanna Krakowiak, Julia Trzeciak and Karolina Lada. Second Prize was awarded to Michal Werner, a student at the Academy of Fine Arts in Wroclaw, and Third Prize was awarded to a team of students from the Faculty of Architecture at the Gdansk University of Technology, consisting of: Aleksander Wiese, Monika Naskręt, Aleksandra Ciżek. Honorable mention went to Ane Ventureira and Manon Tauzin, who are studying at the Faculty of Architecture of Gdansk University of Technology under the Erasmus program.
