"The House Between" is an example of architecture that combines minimalist design with harmonious integration into the surrounding space. The project of 77 Studio of Architecture reflects a contemporary approach to single-family housing - simplicity of form, high quality materials and skillful handling of light and space.

Harmony between history and modernity
The house has an area of 300 sqm. The building was designed on a narrow, rectangular plot. As the name of the project indicates, the house stood between the new buildings designed by the studio (including the Box house and the Averse and Reverse buildings) and the development shaped on the estate by tall houses with sloping roofs from the 1990s. Hence its form referring to the buildings found in the neighborhood . This introduces a subtle dialogue between tradition and modernity. The body of the building consists of two interpenetrating forms, which create a modern but harmonious composition. The first floor, with its flat roof, has a horizontal, spreading character, which optically stabilizes the structure and makes the house seem well-embedded in its surroundings. Above it rises the floor, which is clearly distinguished from the lower part. Carefully arranged internal arcades and terrace elements emphasize the rhythm of the block, while providing shelter from the sun and wind. The high quality of workmanship and carefully selected details make the "House Between" an excellent example of contemporary architecture that combines aesthetics with functionality and respect for the environment.

Contrasting facade
The distinctive element of the project is the facade, which harmoniously combines two contrasting materials - natural wood and modern facade panels. The upper part of the building, with an archetypal shape with a gabled roof, was entirely covered with vertically laid boards of termed pine, giving the mass warmth and lightness. On the other hand, the first floor, with a flat roof, is finished with elegant graphite facade panels, which emphasize the modern character of the building. From the front, only an opening for a door recess has been "cut" in this uniform plane. Such a combination of materials creates a striking composition, combining minimalist aesthetics with a natural touch of wood. The dark façade of the building was juxtaposed with the natural surroundings, creating a contrast between the modern architecture and the greenery of the garden. The combination of matte graphite panels with large glazing gives the block a lightness, while carefully planned vegetation further emphasizes the minimalist nature of the establishment.

House open to nature
The architecture of the house was designed to blur the boundary between the interior and the surrounding nature, creating a harmonious relationship between the building and its surroundings. Both the front and garden sides feature large glazings that not only let in natural light, but also provide panoramic views of the greenery. As a result, residents have constant contact with nature, and interior spaces appear more spacious and open.
A key element of this concept is the large sliding patio doors, which seamlessly connect the living room to the spacious wooden terrace. It is not only a relaxation zone, but also a natural extension of the living area for spending time outdoors. The warm shade of wood emphasizes the friendly and natural character of the space. On the first floor, contact with the environment has also been taken care of - a modern balcony with a glass railing has been designed there, which not only adds lightness to the block, but also provides a place to relax with a view of the garden. The transparent balustrade enhances the impression of openness and allows light to penetrate freely, giving the entire structure a subtle, modern expression.

Thegarden, which is an extension of this open concept, has been carefully arranged to emphasize the minimalist character of the house. Diverse vegetation was used, combining ornamental species with low grasses and shrubs that emphasize the simple form of the building. There are also elements of small architecture and accessories, such as subtle lighting, which gives the space a unique atmosphere after dark. The whole project creates a coherent, functional space, where the interior and the surroundings mingle in a natural and harmonious way.
Terraces as an extension of the interior
The house has two carefully designed terraces, which serve both an aesthetic and functional function, providing homeowners with comfortable outdoor relaxation areas. The main, spacious terrace is located at the rear of the building. It is a natural extension of the living area. Thanks to large glazings, the living room seamlessly merges with the open space, and the view of the garden framed through the windows emphasizes contact with nature. A key element of this zone is an elegant outdoor fireplace. This allows householders to enjoy the terrace both on warm summer evenings and during cooler days. The wood-clad terrace harmonizes with the natural accents of the facade.

The second, smaller terrace is located in the side of the building, also on the first floor level. Thanks to its direct connection with the living room, it provides an alternative leisure space that is more intimate and sheltered. Its location allows you to enjoy the shade on hot days, and the subtle greenery surrounding it further enhances the sense of peace and privacy. The terraces are sheltered by modern pergolas with adjustable slats, which allow you to control the amount of light entering the resting area. This solution is not only practical, but also aesthetically pleasing, blending in with the geometric shape of the building. The pergolas protect against excessive sunlight on hot days, while adding lightness and a modern touch to the architecture of the house. Both terraces have been designed with the convenience of the residents in mind, creating places conducive to relaxing and spending time together outdoors, while making maximum use of the space of the narrow plot.
Intimate courtyard
An intimate courtyard was designed in one of the side zones of the property, providing a quiet, isolated space conducive to relaxation. Its surface is covered with white gravel, which not only brightens up the surroundings, but also emphasizes the modern character of the arrangement. Subtle greenery, blended with minimalist plantings, adds a natural lightness to the courtyard, and the simple forms of vegetation harmonize with the architecture of the building. This space was designed to create an intimate rest area, where homeowners can relax surrounded by harmoniously selected materials and plants.
