The history of the Vallox factory began in the Finnish city of Loimaa in 1971.

The first work on developing an energy-efficient heat recovery unit began in 1976.
The first recuperator rolled off the production line in the mid-1980s.

Currently, Vallox produces about 30,000 units of recuperators per year and is present in European and Asian markets.
