Miriam Mik

Miriam Mik (born 1996 in Pforzheim, Germany) architect, graduate of the Opole University of Technology, Faculty of Architecture and Construction. During her studies she did an internship at db2 architekci studio in Opole. She defended her engineering thesis in 2019. The diploma was submitted to the international competition titled "New Habitats, New Beauties" organized as part of the Tallinn Architecture Biennale. Miriam worked at the foreign architectural office Wenzel + Wenzel Freihe Architekten in Wroclaw, Poland. She participated in workshops organized by B4F Builder for the Future and lectures by well-known architects like Snohetta, Baumschlager Eberle and Wulf Architekten organized by "Master of Architecture" in Katowice, Poland.
She is interested in ecological architecture and exploring sustainable construction. She is fascinated by classical music and currently plays the violin. She enjoys traveling, which inspires her to design.
