Polish design in the global dimension: the story of Edyta Barańska

Baranska Design

The art glass studio was founded by artist Edyta Baranska more than 20 years ago. Baranska Design studio is appreciated for its ability to adapt the style, color or texture of art glass to the tastes of the audience and a variety of interiors.

The owner of the studio is Edyta Baranska - a glass designer who, right after studying at the Academy of Fine Arts in Wroclaw under the legend of Polish design Zbigniew Horbowy, worked with the best glassworks in Poland and Norway creating utility and design forms that combine utility with the artistic character of objects.

She has participated in numerous insertions in Poland, Belgium, the Netherlands, Germany, Mexico and the USA, which resulted in the presence of her works almost all over the world, including in the permanent collections of the National Museum in Warsaw and Krakow, one of whose projects qualified for the collection of the 100 best designs in the history of the Republic of Poland.
