Regulation on the Protection of Personal Data (RODO)

As of May 25, 2018, the Regulation of the European Parliament and of the Council (EU) 2016/679 of April 27, 2016 on the Protection of Personal Data (RODO) applies. The use of the A&B portal requires the User's consent to the processing of his/her personal data to the extent necessary for the implementation of the presentation of content and analysis of portal traffic (personal data stored in cookies). In light of the above regulation, personal data is the very IP address of the portal visitor's computer or network. No additional personally identifiable information is automatically collected about the User and without the knowledge of that User.

    1. What data are processed?
These are personal data that are collected as part of the use of our portal and its features, including those stored in cookie files and/or the processing of the contact email address provided by the User as part of the newsletter of the portal [see above paragraph newsletter of the portal].

    2. Who is the administrator of the above personal data?
The administrator of the personal data is:
      AiB sp. z o.o.
      Kielecka 2/55A
      31-526 Kraków

    3. For what purpose do we process data?
Data is processed for the purpose of analyzing traffic on A&B websites and possibly saving User's settings on User's computer or other terminal device in cookie files for more convenient use of portal functions. If the User voluntarily provides a contact e-mail address (newsletter of the portal), this mailbox may be used according to the objectives of the aforementioned newsletter, i.e. to send substantive and partner information, e.g. information about contests, publications, news and industry trends.

    4. Whether and possibly to whom data may be transmitted?
The data that AiB Sp. z o.o. administers is not transmitted in a form that allows direct identification of the User (e.g., by name or surname). For analytical purposes, the IP address of the computer or network used by a person visiting the portal may be transmitted along with the so-called behavior of that person, i.e., for example, the number and type of portal pages visited, the duration of the visit, etc. Such related data may be transferred exclusively for statistical purposes to entities that process personal data on behalf of AiB sp. z o.o., such as, among others, IT service providers, marketing agencies, research companies, business partners - with such entities having access to the data on the basis of separate agreements with the Personal Data Administrator and only in accordance with the instructions given within the limited scope specified in each such agreement.

    5. Example of the use of personal data by AiB Sp. z o.o.:
The entity to which personal data in the scope described above is transferred in generalized form is, for example, Google, whose system Google Analytics Solutions - Marketing Analytics & Measurement is used to analyze portal traffic. The data is collected by means of a script that transfers information about the IP address and behavior of the portal User to a temporary database.

In the case of newsletter portal, it may be used among other such addresses for mass mailing of enrolled newsletter portal Users, containing content directly related to the portal's industry and of an informational and commercial nature, such as offers of new publications, products and technologies.

    6. User consents (pop-up)
The A&B portal uses a consent mechanism that is displayed to the user when he or she first accesses any page of the site. In the pop-up presented, the user is presented with the option of accepting a predefined set of consents that allow seamless use of the portal, or manually specifying the consent, or set of consents, that the user chooses to accept. The first consent is mandatory and required to use the portal - it allows information about the consents made to be recorded on the user's terminal device (consent to the so-called "cookies" mechanism). It also includes consent to the use of security features that are sensitive to the work of the portal. This consent is locked in the "on" position - failure to agree to it means you must leave the A&B portal. Each of the following sections specifies the user's choice as to the consents given and includes, among other things, consents for the use of anonymous analytics, advertising, remarketing and security mechanisms. Each section contains a precise description of the subject to which it applies. The user has full freedom in choosing the consents to be given. The user's choice is saved in a non-permanent cookie on the user's end devices (computer, phone, tablet) - independently for each of them. In order to save a permanent scope of consents, you can use the portal login mechanism and specify the scope of consents in your user panel. The choice made and saved in the user panel after logging in on each user's device will have priority over the choice made temporarily in the pop-up. A logged-in user can make changes to the consents granted at any time. A non-logged-in user, in order to change the consents granted, must perform a so-called browser cache cleanup of stored cookies with A&B portal settings. This will reset the settings/selection of consents and display the pop-up again to define them.

Annotation: until you accept/select consents in the pop-up presented, the default values are set [analytics_storage: granted] and [ad_storage: denied] allowing initial analysis, but blocking consents for Google ads and remarketing.

    7. What rights do you have in connection with the processing of this data?

    • You have the right to know if and, if applicable, what data the Administrator has about you.
    • The user has access to his/her data including obtaining a copy of it,
    • User A&B may request the Administrator to correct erroneous data,
    • User A&B has the right to request the restriction of the processing of his/her data to the extent he/she chooses,
    • User may withdraw consents on the basis of which personal data is processed,
    • The user may request the complete deletion of his/her data at any time (in certain situations).

    Additionally providing personal data:

    • You may file a complaint with the data protection supervisory authority,
    • You have the right to portability of your personal data.

To exercise your rights, simply contact us by writing to our email address: AiB Office or by snail mail to:
      AiB sp. z o.o., 2/55A Kielecka Street, 31-526 Krakow.

The administrator of your personal data declares that it makes every effort to ensure all physical, technical and organizational measures to protect the data processed by it against accidental or intentional destruction, accidental loss, alteration, unauthorized disclosure, use or access, in accordance with all applicable laws and goodwill to protect the data entrusted by you.
