ngo + pasierbinski
ngo + pasierbiński is an original architectural studio founded by Duc Ngo and Piotr Pasierbiński in 2020. They gained their professional experience over many years at Sou Fujimoto Architects in Tokyo, and their projects have been awarded in numerous competitions both nationally and internationally.
"The studio's philosophy is naive, yet disciplined exploration. Naive, meaning simple and sincere, based on the belief that it is worthwhile to design according to ideals. Naïve, but combined with the discipline of the design process and argumentation, and the logic of the decisions made. In the design process, we seek admiration for natural phenomena, historical layers or cultural contexts in order to derive specific architectural moves from them. We reach for spatial solutions that evoke emotions. We allow ourselves to dream, and then we design. The foundation, however, is rigorous research. Designing without exploring the context is not naive, it is disrespectful."
