More than a hundred new apartments in Kielce! Kielce Municipality, acting through the Municipal Board of Buildings in Kielce and in cooperation with the Kielce Branch of the SARP, announced an implementation competition for the development of an urban-architectural concept for the construction of a complex of multi-family social buildings on Młoda Street in Kielce.

purpose

The purpose of the competition, as we read in the regulations, is to obtain the best concept in terms of urban planning, architecture, space and functional-utility. The competition proposal should, in a rational, economical and balanced way, combine into a coherent whole, interesting, appropriate and most suitable design solutions, and at the same time optimally fit into the investment area and be harmoniously connected with the surrounding space.

The ordering party expects valuable architectural and urban planning solutions that can become a model for similar realizations in Poland and abroad. However, these solutions are to be economically justified. The complex should offer a friendly living space and build an urban character.

terms and conditions

The competition is an implementation competition, unlimited, two-stage.

The project plans to demolish the existing 10-story high-rise building in the study area. The competition task is to design a complex of multi-family social buildings with a total usable area of apartments in the range of 5200-5800 square meters. The expected number of apartments is 115-135, including about 20% one-bedroom apartments, 50% two-bedroom apartments and 30% three-bedroom apartments.

The planned buildings should have a maximum of seven floors above ground and one underground floor housing a garage (the underground parking lot should include the location of Emergency Shelter Places), storage cells and technical rooms. The first floors of the buildings should provide for three to six public service units.

  • 1st Prize - PLN 40,000 gross and an invitation to negotiate on a sole-source basis
