The Regional Court in Olsztyn has announced a single-stage competition for the expansion of the District Court building in Lidzbark Warmiński, located at 4A Bartoszycka Street. The purpose of the competition is to develop a coherent, comprehensive urban and architectural concept for the adaptation and expansion of the building, including the development of the adjacent public spaces.

The competition is a restricted , single-stage competition .

As stated in the rules, the concept should highlight the potential and functional possibilities of the project, as well as its character, and should integrate architecturally and urbanistically with the surrounding environment and landscape. The competition proposal must emphasize the functional and operational layout of the courthouse and take into account the economic and environmental constraints faced by contemporary public projects.

The concept should incorporate a contemporary approach to the design of public buildings, emphasizing innovation and an environmentally friendly approach to shaping architecture and space.

Prizes

• First Prize — 40,000 PLN gross and an invitation to negotiate, via a single-source procurement procedure, the detailed development of the competition concept
• Second Prize — 30,000 PLN gross
• Third Prize — 20,000 PLN gross
