Katarzyna Gilek

A 2018 graduate of the Faculty of Architecture at Krakow University of Technology. Her urban planning master's thesis "Wzgórza Krzesławickie - integration" (co-author: Justyna Janowiec) gained recognition in industry circles and received the third prize of the Krakow branch of the Polish Society of Urban Planners and third place in the 8th edition of the "A&B Academy" . During her studies, she participated in conferences where she gave lectures. Three of her speeches were published in post-conference monographs. She gained practice in three different design offices. She is currently working as an architect in an international firm doing multi-discipline projects, often under the banner of "sustainable design." She realizes the importance of good graphic design, while fluently navigating BIM technology and multi-discipline coordination.
For as long as she can remember, she has been interested in the social dimension of architecture and urban planning and sustainable design, especially in the context of urban development and sustainable construction.
