This is the third issue of A&B, which we have given entirely to the architects - they designed the cover, chose the examples for presentation, wrote and came up with the whole moodboard, which they called Imaginarium.

This time A&B is edited by Warsaw-based CENTRAL. Its core currently consists of Malgorzata Kuciewicz and Simone De Iacobis. In 2018, they were the authors of the Polonia Pavilion at the Venice Architecture Biennale.

They have many successes to their credit, but the most interesting is their design method - a practice based on research work. Their contribution to Polish architecture is enormous. They redirect it to other tracks, work out of the box and experiment. They risk a lot, but they also have a lot of fun in the process. They explore, study each topic in depth, analyze data and then bring all this accumulated knowledge into the public debate about architecture and the city.

Much could be written about how cool, avant-garde they are, what a fresh perspective they have on many architectural topics. But we, the editors of A&B - their assistants in this issue - are looking forward to the moment when you, dear readers, will let yourselves be drawn into this intellectual adventure they have put you on. We are waiting for you to let yourselves be carried away by beautiful and wise architecture and even more beautiful and wise non-architecture.

Look forward to reading February's A&B!
