RE-THINK—MBA Krakow 2025

The jubilee International Architecture Biennale in Krakow is behind us. An event that for forty years has created a space for lively dialogue, clash of ideas and meetings of people for whom architecture is not only a profession, but also a way of thinking about the world. For two intense days, the ICE Congress Center pulsated with talks, presentations and discussions, attended by guests from Poland and abroad. We listened to inspiring lectures, viewed exhibitions and observed design workshops.

The Biennale has always been a place for Krakow to exchange—not only knowledge, but also sensitivity. This year's edition, under the motto RE-THINK, proved that the most important fuel of architecture is still people: their needs, emotions, courage to ask questions and readiness to seek answers.

In this issue, we offer you a broad overview of the most interesting moments of the Biennale: interviews with speakers, critical reflections, documentation of presentations and competition entries. And finally, a bonus—our social chronicle, because the Biennale is also about meetings and people who create the atmosphere of the event.

We hope that this issue, in addition to summarizing the event, will also be a practical incentive for further reflection on architecture and the way we shape space in our cities.
