Lesław Czapliński

Historian of ideas, music, theater and film critic, publicist. Author of numerous texts on the correspondence of arts, the functioning of religious and totalitarian systems and their propaganda impact on the ground of language and media. Author of books: "Pasolini's Cinema of Death" (1992), "Sarkis Parajanian" (1998), "In the Circle of Opera Myths" (2003). SFP member, FIPRESCI juror. Translator of French and Italian literature. He lives in Cracow.
