Suspended ceiling DK/MFC - 25

Suspended ceilings perform the function of aesthetically hiding installations running under the ceiling or structural elements of the ceiling. They also provide a fire barrier and insulate the room acoustically and thermally. The sheathing of the suspended ceiling structure is usually 12.5 mm or 15 mm thick gypsum plasterboard. In special sound-absorbing ceilings, perforated panels are used. The grid structure of a suspended ceiling consists of cold-formed profiles mounted in a single- or double-level cross pattern. Suspended ceiling slings are spring-loaded pivot hangers and fastening rods or, in the case of ceilings that provide fire protection, vernier hangers or direct fastening elements.
