On the initiative of the Gdansk Branch of the Society of Polish Town Pl anners and the Faculty of Architecture at the Gdansk University of Technology, the Professor Wieslaw Gruszkowski Award, a distinguished urban planner, architect, scientist and didactician, will be awarded for the first time.

purpose

The purpose of the award, as we read in the regulations, is to emphasize the importance of urban planning in shaping the living environment of man and society, and the role of urban planners in this regard.

terms and conditions

The Professor Wieslaw Gruszkowski Prize is awarded to architects and urban planners for outstanding scientific, creative and popularizing achievements in the field of urban planning in northern Poland.

Candidates for the award may be individuals.

jury

The award will be granted by a jury consisting of four experts selected by the Board of Directors of the Gdansk Branch of TUP and the Authorities of the Faculty of Architecture from among the members or staff in the same proportions.
