The results of the 2026 Zbyszek Zwistowski SARP Diploma of the Year Competition have been announced

descriptionOn June 11 of this year, at the Foksal Pavilion in Warsaw, the results of the 62nd Zbyszek Zawistowski “DIPLOMA OF THE YEAR” Annual Award, 2026 edition, organized by the Association of Polish Architects (SARP), for the best master’s thesis defended in 2025.
The award for the best master’s thesis completed at the architecture departments of Polish universities has been presented since 1964. For the past twenty years, it has been known as the SARP Zbyszek Zawistowski Annual Award “Diploma of the Year.”
The diploma projects selected for the competition finals were evaluated by a jury composed of:

- Magdalena Buczyńska — SARP Kraków Branch
- Oliwia Dec-Wolszczak — SARP Warsaw Branch
- Daria Kieżun — SARP Wrocław Branch
- Julia Wild — Previous Competition Winner
- Wojciech Głowacki — SARP Kielce Chapter
- Konrad Grabowiecki - SARP Warsaw Chapter
- Piotr Sobociński – SARP Toruń Branch
- Piotr Trojniel – SARP Białystok Branch
- Rafał Gajewski – Representative of the Competition Partner, CEMEX
The annual Zbyszek Zawistowski “Diploma of the Year” Award was presented to Łukasz Rossa, author of the thesis “The Architectural Expression of an Academic Library as an Element Shaping the Identity of a University Campus. The New Main Library on the Warsaw University of Technology Campus,” prepared at the Faculty of Architecture of the Warsaw University of Technology under the supervision of Dr. Krystian Kwieciński and Sławomir Kowal.
The jury also awarded three equal honorable mentions to: Monika Pogwizd from the Faculty of Architecture at the Warsaw University of Technology, Szymon Misiak from the Faculty of Architecture at the Kraków University of Technology, and Jakub Miśniakiewicz from the Faculty of Architecture at the Kraków University of Technology.
