27th edition of the Jan Baptista Quadro Award of the Mayor of Poznań

On October 29 of this year, during a gala ceremony, we got to know the results of the 27th edition of the competition of the Mayor of the City of Poznań for the best buildings designed and constructed in Poznań, put into use in the year preceding the competition. The competition for the Jan Baptista Quadro Award is jointly organized by the City of Poznań, UWI Inwestycje, SARP Poznań Branch and the Wielkopolska Regional Chamber of Architects of the Republic of Poland.

Of the twelve projects nominated in this year's edition, the jury composed of:

  • Natalia Weremczuk - Deputy Mayor of the City of Poznań, Chairwoman of the Jury
  • Piotr Bujnowski - IARP architect, President of SARP Warsaw Branch
  • Bartosz Jarosz - IARP architect, Chairman of the Council of the WPOIA of the Republic of Poland
  • Daria Kieżun - architect, SARP Branch Wrocław
  • Wojciech Krawczuk - architect IARP, President of SARP Branch Poznań
  • Łukasz Mikuła - Chairman of the Spatial Policy Commission of the Municipal Council of Poland
  • Małgorzata Puchyła - president of UWI Inwestycje, initiator of the Award
  • Piotr Sobczak - Municipality of Poznań, Architect of the City
  • Katarzyna Weiss - IARP architect, Member of the Council of the WPOIA RP

selected the winners. The Jan Baptista Quadro Award was won by OZ Studio Projektowe for Food Fort Ostrów Tumski. This year's honorable mentions went to CDF Architekci studio for Betonhaus and Hugger's Brewery and PL.architekci studio for Dom pod Lasem.
