On June 6, 2023, we announced the results of an architectural competition for the development of a concept for a complex of multi-family residential buildings with services at 30B 1 Sierpnia Street in Warsaw.

The competition was a limited, one-stage competition, recommended by SARP No. 28/R/2022. The investment is part of the Housing Program of the City of Warsaw.

The designed facilities were to consist of:

• communal apartments;
• service premises located in the first floors of the buildings;
• underground garages located under each building;
• landscaping of the grounds with parking spaces and internal roads;
• estate greenery.

The competition received 14 works by the deadline, which were evaluated by the Competition Jury, consisting of:

• Wanda Stolarska - Office of Architecture and Spatial Planning,
• Małgorzata Moj - Office of Architecture and Spatial Planning,
• Danuta Kaminska - Office of Architecture and Spatial Planning,
• Monika Kryk - Deputy Mayor of Italy District,
• Michal Nizinski - Italy District Office,
• Beata Bejtman-Kuźmienko - Capital City Development Authority
• Beata Marczak-Wacławek - Office of Housing Policy,
• Daniel Frąc - referee, Association of Polish Architects,
• Błażej Hermanowicz - Association of Polish Architects.

The court awarded three prizes and one honorable mention.

First Prize in the amount of PLN 50 thousand (gross) was awarded to Górecki Architekci studio from Warsaw.

Second Prize in the amount of PLN 30 thousand (gross) was awarded to the team consisting of: EMA Studio and Archigrest from Warsaw.

Third Prize and PLN 15 thousand (gross) was awarded to Lab 3 Architekci from Poznań.

Honorable mention and PLN 5 thousand (gross) was awarded to the project by Domino Grupa Architektoniczna Wojciech Dunaj from Szczecin.
