On December 12 this year we learned the results of the 29th edition of the "Polish Cement in Architecture" competition , which awards the best buildings realized with concrete technology. The competition is organized by the Association of Polish Architects and the Association of Cement Producers.

The competition jury, chaired by SARP ZG President Marek Chrobak, and composed of: Katarzyna Wiosna-Osóbka (representative of the SARP Governing Council), Paweł Wolanin (winner of last year's edition of the "Polish Cement in Architecture" competition), Marcin Brataniec (architect member of the SARP Competition Judges Panel, appointed by the SARP ZG) and Zbigniew Pilch (representative of the Association of Cement Producers) awarded First Prize to the Nizio Design International studio for the realization of the Mausoleum of Martyrdom of Polish Villages in Michniowie. Second Prize went to the Maćków Pracownia Projektowa team, authors of the WUWA Point office building on Nowe Żerniki in Wroclaw.

Honorable mentions went to Bujnowski Architekci for the Elementary School and Kindergarten on Świderska Street in Warsaw, Zdrojowa Invest for the Baltic Park Loft, UCEES for the White House and Projekt Praga for Student House No. 7.

A special award from the Association of Concrete Freight Manufacturers was given to the new headquarters of the Museum of Modern Art in Warsaw, designed by Thomas Phifer and Partners in collaboration with APA Wojciechowski.
