Results of the Home Builders Association Award competition for the 2025/2026 academic year.

descriptionOn March 2, 2026,the competition forthe Student Housing Project of the Year for the award of the Home Builders Association was decided.
The object of the competition was a residential, multi-family building together with the arrangement of the first floor space with public and commercial functions on plots No. 328/17, 328/2 and partially on plot No. 328/11, on Wroclawska Street in Krakow.
This year the competition was attended by male and female architecture students from the Cracow University of Technology, Andrzej Frycz Modrzewski University and Kyiv State University.
The Competition Jury composed of:
- Magdalena Buczyńska-Zapała, President of the Cracow Branch of SARP
- Dorota Koźmińska, President of DK-Developmet
- Piotr Legerski, CEO of SBDiM
- Andrzej Rymarczyk, Member of the Management Board of SBDiM
- Dagmara Szaflarska-Słowiaczek, Member of SBDiM Management Board
- Witold Zieliński, Deputy Chairman of the Board of MPOIA RP
after reviewing all the works nominated for the second stage of the competition, awarded two prizes, two honorable mentions and a special prize from the SBDiM President.
The first place was won by Aleksandra Filip from the Cracow University of Technology. The second prize went to Oliwia Machna from Andrzej Frycz Modrzewski University, and the third prize went to Patrycja Penar from Krakow University of Technology.
Honorable mention went to Daria Denysenko of Kyiv State University and Yuliya Kadluchka of Krakow University of Technology, and the special award of the SBDiM President went to Dmytro Stepchuk of Kyiv State University.
As of 2023. The Association of House and Apartment Builders is organizing a competition for architecture students in a new form, in which the goal is to promote residential design among students of architecture faculties and to create a space for discussion on contemporary residential design between developers, researchers and students of architecture training universities and developers and housing investors. The Competition is held under the patronage of the SARP Krakow Branch.
Partners of the Competition are: Faculty of Architecture and Fine Arts of Andrzej Frycz Modrzewski University and Faculty of Architecture of Krakow University of Technology.
