abstract
The purpose of this master's thesis is to draw attention to the enormous potential that lies in the ideas of floating urbanism. Floating cities are an innovative solution to contemporary problems of urbanization, climate change and land scarcity. Their potential to create sustainable communities, utilize innovative technologies and provide maximum proximity of function for residents makes them an opportunity to improve the quality of life in cities around the world.
