The work deals with the problem of awareness of the impact of the difficult legacy left by the Third Reich in Poznan, in relation to the history of the artificial lake Rusalka, created by the forced labor of Jewish prisoners during the occupation. The project is an architectural premise intended to perpetuate in space the history of the lake's builders. The concept includes a site located at the southern shore of the lake, along with access roads and a lapidarium for the fragments of matzevot remaining in the waters of Rusalka. The designed site uses the concepts of emptiness and silence in architecture.
