author's description

The salon is part of the design of a country house of a Lviv art collector. The house is located in Lviv, Zubra village. The project area is 152sqm, the living room area - 24,4sqm The main task was to create a cozy, modern space with traditional motifs. On the floor we used Tubądzin tiles from the Cielo e Terra Bianco collection in 2400×1200 format. The walls match the shade of the floor, we wanted to get a full space where important things are highlighted - sculptures, paintings, vintage furniture. Some of the furniture is also made of Tubadzin Fair Beig tiles. This project is very important to us because it was created during the war, but we are still creating and designing a future where there will be a new life of peace.

jury opinion

Natalia Nykolyshyn from Ukraine, who won first place, created a project full of respect for tradition and nature, which allows modernity to make itself comfortable. The interiors of the house, which was built during World War II, featured Cielo e Terra Bianco tiles, as well as Fair Beige, as countertops for modern classic style furniture. The warm, creamy tones along with accents of deep brown create a stirring aesthetic impression. The interior is elegant, comfortable as well as cozy, allowing you to spend time comfortably both alone and in a large group.
