justification of the jury

The first prize was awarded for a coherent concept characterized by the high quality of the proposed urban and architectural solutions, thanks to which the object can become an architectural accent in the scale of Jana and Jędrzeja Śniadeckich Street and the planned new district of the city of Wesoła. The award was given to the proposal for a building distinguished by the rationality and flexibility of its functional-spatial and material-construction structure, which meets the diverse usable requirements of individual groups of rooms, and at the same time gives the client the possibility to adapt to current needs and those likely to appear in the future. Also appreciated was the optimization of the building in terms of use and economy.

jury recommendations

The design should be brought into full compliance with the detailed utility and technical-technological requirements of the ordering party, including in particular:

  • include in the design the possibility of opening windows in certain rooms and ensure the possibility of natural ventilation,
  • improve the functionality of the exit ramp to the garage taking into account the possibility of movement of delivery trucks,
  • optimize the area of sanitary rooms and checkrooms on individual floors in accordance with the number of employees,
  • change the location of the room for municipal waste, allowing for its easy transport and collection.
