jury's opinion

The awarded realization is an example of inclusion of the project of development of transport infrastructure in the process of
creation of a multifunctional center of a communal locality. The layout of facilities such as a train station, a transfer center
transfer center, Park&Ride parking lot and the historic building of the old station with new service functions
is becoming the new centerpiece of the municipality. Thanks to the cooperation between PKP and the municipality, a transport and service complex has been created, uniting the basic needs of daily intra-municipal and metropolitan transportation
and metropolitan transportation, facilitating access and access to the station and platforms from both sides of the railroad areas, and
offering space for public and commercial services. Enriched with various forms of public greenery, the area of the
communication center is one of the key elements of the urban and functional reconstruction of the
Rokietnica locality, giving it individuality, while maintaining the scale and character of a suburban municipality
suburban area.
