The second edition of Smart Home & IoT Expo, an event dedicated to smart technologies for homes and buildings, was held at Ptak Warsaw Expo from February 24-26. Nice presented its vision of a smart home based on a single, coherent ecosystem integrating different areas of automation.

At this year's show, we focused on solutions showing how the modern smart home goes beyond single functions such as lighting or heating control. It is an integrated system including gate automation, sunshades, home control and integration with other building technologies.

At the booth, visitors could see how the various automation components work together as part of the Yubia ecosystem, which allows building both simple smart home installations and more advanced systems integrating various technologies, including KNX solutions.

Talking about real implementations
The expo was an opportunity to meet with installers, system integrators and business partners. During the event, we had many conversations about practical applications of smart home technology, scaling installations and new opportunities for companies involved in designing and implementing automation systems.

During the expo, Nice also received an honorable mention in the "Innovation" category, awarded for the development of solutions in the area of smart buildings. The award confirms the growing role of integrated automation systems and the direction of development of the Nice & FIBARO ecosystem.
