Siedle IQ is a new intercom communication system from German manufacturer Siedle. It consists of a cloud-based platform, digital services and a video intercom system with apps. Siedle IQ is easy to understand, install and operate for professionals and users.
Siedle's history in Germany began 275 years ago as a foundry on a farm. Since then, the family-owned company has grown from a pioneer of intercom systems to an innovation leader in building communications - and now, finally, it is entering the world of the Internet of Things (IoT) with Siedle IQ.

Simplicity at all levels
Siedle IQ is a product family consisting of a cloud-based platform, digital services and IP video intercom systems. And there are two apps: the IQ Config app for quick and easy commissioning, and the Siedle app for mobile intercom communication. The range is aimed at building and electrical professionals, as well as building managers and users. All functions are easy to understand and intuitive to use. Siedle has developed the first variants of the system, to be available from fall 2025, for single- and multi-family homes with up to six residential units.
The design of the devices has already won several awards
Siedle has deliberately focused on the simplicity of the new devices - which is reflected in the number of device variants. At launch, these include the IQ Door door station (with 1 to 3 or 4, as well as 6 buttons), the IQ Indoor station and a switching device for door release, as well as two power supplies. These devices stand for proven Siedle quality: the finest materials and workmanship, durability and sustainability.

Focusing on core functions
As with its design, Siedle focuses on simplification through reduction in terms of usability as well. The focus is on the basic functions of door communication: ringing, speaking and seeing, and opening the door. IQ Door and IQ Indoor are reduced to essential elements, and the language of form and symbols follows a user-friendly operating concept with large, clearly marked buttons and clear haptic feedback. With status indicators for active call and active door opener, the door station enables barrier-free access. Installation of the devices is equally simple and is done in a few user-friendly steps.
At the center is the platform
The IQ platform is the heart of the system. It connects devices, electricians, property managers and residents. As the central access point and source for everything to do with IQ, the platform provides a virtual representation of all installed systems. Status messages provide information on the status of projects and the status of systems.

Planning, pre-configuration, maintenance - all online
The platform offers an end-to-end cloud solution for digital services and networks and acts as a communication interface for all phases of construction, including configuration, inquiry, ordering to system commissioning. It also enables remote monitoring and maintenance of all existing equipment, systems, up-to-date data information and project statuses during the life of the building. This enables simple monitoring and saves a specialist company from visiting the site. Siedle is constantly developing the IQ platform, regularly introducing new digital features and services, as well as automatic security updates for all devices connected to the network.
Siedle IQ commissioning concept - simple, fast, flexible
Siedle IQ systems can be pre-configured in the office using the IQ Platform and the new IQ Config app and commissioned with just a few clicks. On-site installation requires no specialist knowledge.
The ability to connect the proven Siedle app
The Siedle app extends the intercom system to include the smartphone - as a mobile indoor station with IQ Indoor functions on one side and as a second screen for additional functions that are constantly being added. It receives a door call, displays live video depending on the system, makes a voice call and opens the door. Missed calls can be tracked in event memory. The video image is available even before the call is answered. The voice quality meets the high requirements of Siedle, and the door is opened by touching the familiar key symbol.
