DFM DS steel fire door

door leaf characteristics

Steel fire doors and dampers of the DFM DS type are made as rebated doors with a thick rebate and pressed from two steel sheets 0.75mm thick (optional 0.88mm). They can be made as single-leaf and double-leaf. The weight of the leaf, which is lowered in comparison with traditional designs, has a beneficial effect on reducing the operating forces acting on the structure, and thus increases their functional durability, as well as minimizing the mechanical load exerted on hinges, locks, door closers and other accessories and hardware used as door leaf equipment.

In the basic version, sashes and frames are powder-coated in any RAL color.
DFM DS type doors are designed for use as interior or exterior doors. The door is also available without fire resistance.

Doors in the standard version are equipped with:

  • a latch-and-slide lock,
  • a set of stainless steel handles of the U-form type on a sign,
  • cylindrical cylinder with a set of 3 keys,
  • 2 stainless steel hinges (per sash),
  • 2 anti-balance pins,
  • rubber gasket and intumescent seal.

Optional equipment:

  • anti-panic lock in accordance with EN 1125 and EN 179 standards,
  • door closers compliant with EN 1154,
  • stainless steel handles and levers,
  • electric or electromotive locks,
  • electric door openers and concaktrons,
  • rectangular or circular glazing,
  • ventilation grilles,
  • bumpers (kick-plates) made of stainless steel
  • keepers and electromagnetic jumpers,
  • self-closing strips for smoke-proof or acoustic doors.

characteristics of door frames

DFM DS steel doors are equipped with aluminum frames as standard (except DFM DS120 doors equipped with steel frames), made of extruded aluminum profiles, in the basic version they are equipped with an angle aluminum frame. Optional frames are available: internal or encompassing, as well as variants with thermal breaks. The biggest advantage of such a frame design, combined with a thick rebated sash, is the significant minimization of the width of the opening in the wall required for the installation of fire doors.
