My name is Aleksandra Basa. I was born on August 10, 1998 in Bielsko-Biała. From 2005 to 2017 I was a student at the School Complex of the Catholic Cultural Association in Bielsko-Biała. In the graduating class, I became a distinguished finalist in the National Art Olympiad. From 2017 to 2021, I studied at the Faculty of Interior Design at the Jan Matejko Academy of Fine Arts in Krakow. During my studies, I was awarded in the competition "The Future is now" (an honorable mention of Architektura & Biznes magazine) for my work "Plastic Madness" and in the competition "Interior.light.shadow" (the main prize of the Vice-Rector for Student Affairs and the Dean of the Faculty of Architecture of the Krakow University of Technology, an award from AGC Poland and the KunstArt Foundation) for the design of the entrance hall to one of the buildings of the High 5ive complex. I completed my mandatory professional internship in 2019 in Italy. In 2021, I completed my first degree, receiving a professional bachelor's degree. I pursued a major in furniture and interior design in the studio led by Marek Blazucki, PhD, and Anna Markowska, MA. In the first half of 2021, I worked as a client advisor and designer at Halupczok, a company specializing in kitchen furniture. I spend the next quarter of the year in Croatia at the Nautica Vis diving base, where I do administrative work and fulfill my passion, which is diving.
