Jan Kuzman

A graduate of the Faculty of Design Arts at the Bydgoszcz University of Technology, where he majored in interior architecture. In his approach to design, he pays particular attention to the context of a place, treating it as a crucial starting point for creating cohesive and thoughtful solutions. He strives to interpret the character of the existing space, its atmosphere, and the way it functions as accurately as possible, so that the design fits into the existing environment as naturally as possible
blend into the existing surroundings.
He views design as a process of seeking a solution appropriate to a specific place. He is committed to ensuring that the design is not a vision detached from reality
vision detached from reality, but a solution that remains in harmony with the existing space and
at the same time imparts a new quality to it. He values the authenticity of the design and
ensuring that the proposed solutions are coherent, credible, and well-integrated into
their context.
He does not limit himself to a single style or a specific design language. He remains
flexible and open to a variety of means of expression, selecting them on a case-by-case basis to
the character of the place, its function, and the project’s objectives. He also takes on demanding
and unconventional design challenges, viewing them as opportunities to expand his own
skills and explore new solutions.
In his work, he combines an openness to various design approaches with careful observation
of the existing space. He views interior architecture as the conscious shaping
a place, where a new form should arise from the context, remain in
dialogue with it, and form a coherent whole.
