Lucjan Rostkowski-Covington

Lucjan Rostkowski-Coington is an architectural designer and researcher of Polish-British descent. He graduated in April 2023 with a master's degree in architecture from the University of Michigan's Taubman College. His master's thesis dealt with the relationship between queer bodies and queer spaces, and ways of commemorating queer spaces that no longer exist. In the summer of 2023, he traveled across Poland as part of a research grant to expand his previous ethnographic research on Polish queero spaces to smaller towns and communities across the country. He is currently working at Quinn Evans in Washington, D.C. on major cultural institutions such as the United States Botanical Garden and the John Adams Library of Congress. His work has been published in AGORA Volume 17, Architecture and Business, and the Society for Applied Anthropology.
