Michalina Dębska

A graduate of the Faculty of Architecture at the Wrocław University of Technology, she received university education at Faculdade de Arquitectura da Universidade de Lisboa and participated in an international revitalization workshop organized by Université catholique de Louvain. She won, together with an interdisciplinary team, first place in an architectural competition organized by Builder Poland and an honorable mention in the international RE-Stock London Housing Competition. During her studies, she was a member of the board of directors of the Cardo Student Scientific Circle of Urban Planning focused on educating the youngest in the fields of architecture and urban planning. Co-author of the publication Archiliada 3 - an urban game in post-industrial Wrocław published as part of the DOFA Lower Silesian Festival of Architecture '18 by SARP.

She gained her first experience as an architect at OVO Grąbczewscy Architekci and Małeccy Biuro Projektowe, currently associated with PAG Pracownia Architektury Głowacki. . She is close to Katowice, which first influenced her interest in the city and architecture. "Nature in place of parking - landscaping the Cultural Zone in Katowice" is the subject of her thesis, a design for a settlement built from the ground. In concepts, she always strives to create a friendly space for people as well as other living beings. Her free time is made more enjoyable by home jungle cultivation, cycling and specialty coffee.
