Roksana Szumska

A fourth-year architecture student at the Lodz University of Technology. She previously graduated from the Public High School of the University of Lodz in Lodz. For her, architecture is more than just a field of study—it has become a passion and a way of looking at the world around her. It accompanies her every day—whether on walks, trips, or just grabbing a coffee in town, she often pays attention to space, architecture, details, and the way people use them.

Her studies bring her immense satisfaction and motivate her to continually grow. She currently combines her studies with an internship at an architectural firm, which allows her to apply the knowledge she’s gained at university to the real-world design process. In the future, she would like to create architecture that is interesting, people-friendly, and integrated with greenery—combining aesthetics with functionality and the use of natural materials. The atmosphere of a space is also important to her, as she believes that architecture influences our daily well-being and can make the surrounding reality more diverse and welcoming.

In the future, she would like to combine her design work with teaching and share her knowledge with future generations of students at the Lodz University of Technology. Outside of architecture, she is interested in music, cars, crafts, and cooking.
