The Cultural Center in Szczecin: An Industrial Past Captured in New Architecture

Stanisław Rochala

I hold a bachelor’s degree in architecture from the Łódź University of Technology. I graduated with honors. During my studies, I participated in numerous international collaborations, took part in international architectural competitions, and spent a year on exchange at the Politecnico di Milano. I gained professional experience through internships at MVRDV in the Netherlands, among other places. Currently, I am expanding my expertise in parametric design and advanced design technologies in architecture. I gain my understanding of how architecture works not only through books, but also through travel and conversation. I believe that good architecture begins with a fundamental understanding of the multilayered context that gives it meaning and significance.
