Szymon Ciupiński

Szymon Ciupinski - a graduate of the Faculty of Architecture at the Wrocław University of Technology, he also studied at the Faculty of Architecture at Politecnico di Milano. Participant of numerous architectural competitions and workshops in Poland and abroad. He received an Honorable Mention in the prestigious international competition "EVOLO Skyscraper Competition 2019" together with Karol Lacki and Dominik Pierzchlewicz, for the design of a skyscraper that cleans the oceans of plastic.

The subject of his master's thesis is the adaptation of the historic Lazzaretto Vecchio Island in Venice to house the Venice Film School. In his design methodology, he pays special attention to the indigenous context of the place and the clarity of the functional assumptions. On a daily basis, he is affiliated with the Wroclaw-based design studio Arch_it.
