Hugh Broughton Architects is a London-based firm founded in 1995 by Hugh Broughton. It specializes in the design of public buildings, the conservation of historic buildings, and architecture for extreme environments. It has gained international recognition for its research stations in Antarctica and the Arctic, including the award-winning Halley VI station and the Discovery Building at Rothera Research Station. In 2024, it was honored at the Architizer A+ Awards as the world’s best small architecture firm, as voted by the public.
